「Unstoppable」(from "Tootsie")を和訳してみた。

今日は、先日行われた第73回トニー賞授賞式でもperformanceが行われた、ミュージカル『トッツィー』から「Unstoppable」を和訳してみたいと思います。

本作はかの有名なハリウッド大作をミュージカル化したものです。

今回のトニー賞では、主演のサンティーノ・フォンタナがミュージカル主演男優賞を受賞し、脚本賞も含めた2部門で受賞しました。

音楽を担当したのは昨年のトニー賞で多部門受賞を果たした『迷子の警察音楽隊(The Band's Visit)』でトニー賞を受賞したDavid Yazbekです。

正直、『The Band's Visit』の印象が強く、本作の音楽はそこまで印象に残らないかなと思っていましたが、この曲は1幕のラストを飾る大曲となっています。
